Chakan, 28th October 2025: A shocking case of assault has surfaced from Chakan, where a local man, allegedly known for his criminal activities, brutally attacked a bar manager after being denied free liquor. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras, prompting widespread outrage among residents and demands for police action.
According to eyewitnesses, the accused, identified as Ganesh Nanekar, entered Mayur Bar & Restaurant late on Sunday night and demanded free alcohol from the staff. When the bar manager refused, Nanekar allegedly lost his temper and began assaulting him in full public view. The CCTV footage shows the accused repeatedly hitting the manager even as onlookers tried to intervene.
Customers and employees reportedly fled the spot out of fear as the attack continued. Locals later gathered outside the bar, demanding NanekarтАЩs immediate arrest and stricter enforcement against anti-social elements in the area.
