Pimpri, 29th November 2025: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), in collaboration with the Light House Community Foundation, organised a large-scale job fair under the City Hub for Data Communication (CHDC) initiative at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre, Chinchwad. The fair witnessed an impressive response from job-seeking youth across the city.
Guided by Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar, Additional Commissioner Trupti Sandbhor, and led by Deputy Commissioner Mamta Shinde, the job fair brought together over 50 companies, collectively offering more than 1,000 employment opportunities across multiple sectors. Positions ranged from field officers, executives, accounts and customer service roles to sales representatives, engineering and technical profiles.
тАЬOur focus is to create meaningful pathways for educated youth in Pimpri Chinchwad. The encouraging participation at todayтАЩs job fair and the strong response from companies reflect the effectiveness of our efforts. We plan to scale such opportunities further in the coming monthsтАЭ, said Shravan Hardikar, Commissioner, PCMC.

Candidates with qualifications from Class 10 and 12 to ITI, diploma and graduation participated in large numbers. With several reputed companies conducting on-the-spot interviews, many candidates received immediate offer letters, creating a vibrant and optimistic atmosphere at the venue.

Senior PCMC officials, including Deputy Commissioner Anna Bodade and Public Relations Officer Prafulla Puranik, along with representatives from Light House Community Foundation тАФ Vijay Prakash, Jay Devkar, Lakhan Rokade, Kakasaheb Bhure and Rupesh Kurhade visited the fair.
The initiative was organised as part of PCMCтАЩs CHDC project, which leverages data analysis to improve service delivery and design citizen-centric programmes.
