Pimpri, December 10, 2025: In a major cleanliness and beautification effort, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has transformed a previously garbage-sensitive location in Old Sangvi into a clean, appealing, and community-friendly area. The initiative was undertaken near the Late Sou. Shakuntalabai Anandrao Shitole Primary School, under Ward No. 32 of the тАШHтАЩ Regional Office.
The project was implemented under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar and Additional Commissioner Vijaykumar Khorate, with operational leadership from Deputy Commissioner Dr. Pradeep Thengal and Assistant Commissioner Amit Pandit. This transformation marks a visible change from the earlier waste-laden stretch to a neat and aesthetically improved space.
Assistant Health Officer Ankush Zite, Chief Health Inspector Uddhav Dawari, Health Inspector Sandeep Rathod, and the health department staff played a key role in executing the initiative.
The Health Department has urged citizens to actively support these efforts and help maintain a clean and healthy city.
