Pune: Prostitution Business Running Under Name Of Spa Center In Hinjewadi Exposed 

Hinjewadi, 19th December 2022: A prostitution business running under the guise of a spa centre has been busted by the Immoral Human Trafficking Unit of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police. Three women have been rescued, and the spa manager was arrested.

The arrested have been identified as spa owner Ajit Shankar Gosavi (48), a resident of Dhayari Phata, Sinhagad Road, and spa manager Sonu Kumar Vindhyachal Kanojia, a resident of Warje Malwadi. Sangeeta Jadhav, a female police officer, has filed a complaint in this regard.

The police received information from some women that the accused were conducting prostitution business in the name of the spa centre in office number White Square Building, Hinjewadi.

Accordingly, a raid was conducted on Sunday (18th December). At that time, it was observed that the accused were illegally engaging in prostitution with the victimized women. Accordingly, the police rescued the victims and arrested the accused. Rs 37,920 worth of cash and two mobile phones have been seized from them.
