Pimpri-Chinchwad, 14th March 2026: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has collected Rs 800.84 crore in property tax so far in the current financial year, with civic officials urging citizens with pending dues to take advantage of the Abhay Yojana before the scheme ends later this month.
According to the municipal tax assessment and collection department, the civic body recovered the amount between April 1, 2025 and March 14, 2026, reflecting improved compliance by property owners and intensified tax collection efforts by the administration.
Officials said the higher collection was driven by systematic recovery drives, concessions offered to taxpayers, and the availability of convenient online and offline payment options, which have made it easier for residents to clear their dues.
Currently, Pimpri-Chinchwad has around 7.32 lakh registered properties, including residential, commercial, industrial and other categories. Of these, 5,75,328 property owners have already paid their taxes, indicating a steady increase in voluntary compliance among citizens.
