Wakad, 11th October 2025: The prize distribution ceremony of the ‘Shri Ganeshcha Utsav Photo Contest 2025’, organized by former corporator Rahul Kalate, concluded with great enthusiasm at Hotel Tiptop International in Wakad. The annual competition, which has been held for the past 11 years during Ganeshotsav, once again received an overwhelming response from residents across Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Sub Divisional Officer Vitthal Joshi, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vivek Patil, competition supervisor Pranali Harpude, and dignitaries including Shraddha Deshmukh, Darshana Mali, Rajni Meshram, Ajay Jain, Renuka Suryavanshi, and Rahul Agarwal were present for the event.
Participants showcased their creativity and devotion through captivating Ganesha decorations in various categories. From children’s entries to society-level installations, the competition reflected artistic talent and community participation. Winners across different groups were felicitated with trophies and prizes.
Addressing the gathering, SDO Vitthal Joshi praised Rahul Kalate for his contribution to the city’s progress.
“Rahul Kalate has transformed Wakad through all-round development. His work has set an example for other parts of the city,” Joshi said.
Organizer Rahul Kalate congratulated all winners and participants, expressing gratitude for the continued public support.
“This contest celebrates the creativity, devotion, and social unity of Ganesh devotees. The overwhelming response from citizens inspires us to continue this tradition every year with greater enthusiasm,” Kalate said.
