Pune, 26th October 2025: Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad experienced rainfall this evening, bringing relief to residents amid warm October weather. Between 5 pm and 7 pm, Chinchwad recorded 21 mm of rainfall, Shivajinagar 12.7 mm, and NDA 9 mm, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Rural areas of Pune also saw significant showers, with Kurvande in Lonavala, Daund, Bhor, and Girivan reporting notable rainfall.
The IMD has issued forecasts for the coming days in Pune:
- 27 October: Partly cloudy sky turning generally cloudy by afternoon/evening; thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate rain very likely.
- 28 October: Mainly clear sky becoming partly cloudy by afternoon/evening; thunderstorms with lightning and light rain very likely.
- 29 to 1 November: Mainly clear sky turning partly cloudy by afternoon/evening.
Residents are advised to take precautions, especially on 27th and 28th, as thunderstorms and lightning activity may affect outdoor activities and traffic conditions.
