Pimpri Chinchwad, 15th January 2026: Voting for the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) elections gathered significant momentum by mid-afternoon, with the cumulative voter turnout reaching 40.50% as of 3:30 PM.
According to the latest statistical release covering the period from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, a total of 6,94,178 citizens have exercised their franchise out of the 17,13,891 registered voters in the corporation limits.
Gender-Wise Breakdown
The data reflects active participation across demographics:
Male Voters: 3,76,969 votes cast.
Female Voters: 3,17,199 votes cast.
Other: 10 votes recorded.
Ward-Wise Performance
Voter enthusiasm varied significantly across different wards:
Highest Turnout: Ward No. 2 recorded the highest engagement with 49.33% polling, followed closely by Ward No. 3 (46.25%) and Ward No. 12 (46.15%).
Lowest Turnout: Ward No. 19 saw the lowest participation at 28.43%, followed by Ward No. 13 at 28.86%.
With several hours left before polling closes, election officials anticipate the final turnout figures to cross the 50% mark if the current trend continues.
