Pimpri-Chinchwad, 16th December 2025: In preparation for the upcoming Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) elections, the civic administration has appointed eight Returning Officers and 24 Assistant Returning Officers, with designated offices finalised for each cluster of wards. The appointments were announced through official orders issued by Municipal Commissioner and Election Officer Shravan Hardikar.
The PCMC elections will be conducted under a four-member ward system, with 128 corporators to be elected from 32 wards. One Returning Officer has been appointed for every four wards, assisted by three Assistant Returning Officers each.

Online NOC System for Candidates
To facilitate candidates during the nomination process, the PCMC has introduced a special online system for obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs). Candidates will be required to submit their Aadhaar number and personal details while applying.
Applicants can access the service by visiting the official PCMC website pcmcindia.gov.in, selecting тАЬMunicipal General ElectionтАЭ, and then choosing тАЬNOC System for CandidatesтАЭ to submit applications online.
The administration stated that the initiative aims to ensure transparency, ease of access, and timely processing of election-related clearances as the civic polls approach.
