Pimpri, 26th December 2025: As part of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) General Elections 2025–26, a total of 1,076 nomination forms were distributed on Friday from the offices of Election Returning Officers within the prescribed time.
According to official information, the nomination forms were distributed ward-wise between 11 am and 3 pm across all zonal offices of the civic body.
In the A Ward Office, nomination forms were issued for Ward Nos. 10, 14, 15 and 19. A total of 127 forms were distributed, with 26 forms for Ward 10, 40 for Ward 14, 38 for Ward 15 and 23 for Ward 19.
The B Ward Office recorded the distribution of 135 nomination forms. Ward Nos. 16, 17, 18 and 22 received 65, 23, 16 and 31 forms respectively.
At the C Ward Office, a total of 114 nomination forms were distributed. Ward No. 2 received 14 forms, Ward No. 6 received 13, Ward No. 8 received 47 and Ward No. 9 received 40 forms.
The D Ward Office saw the distribution of 149 nomination forms. Ward Nos. 25, 26, 28 and 29 received 52, 17, 23 and 57 forms respectively.
In the E Ward Office, nomination forms were issued for Ward Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 7. A total of 153 forms were distributed, including 30 for Ward 3, 45 each for Wards 4 and 5, and 33 for Ward 7.
The F Ward Office distributed 145 nomination forms. Ward Nos. 1, 11, 12 and 13 received 16, 67, 25 and 37 forms respectively.
At the G Ward Office, a total of 107 nomination forms were distributed. Ward No. 21 received 39 forms, Ward No. 23 received 30, Ward No. 24 received 14 and Ward No. 27 received 24 forms.
The H Ward Office recorded the distribution of 146 nomination forms. Ward Nos. 20, 30, 31 and 32 received 42, 46, 38 and 20 forms respectively.
Election officials said the steady distribution of nomination forms indicates growing political activity ahead of the PCMC civic polls. The administration expects a rise in the filing of nomination applications in the coming days as the election schedule progresses.
